My point is that debt is not the primary problem, although maybe growth is. Debt to GDP is not really a problem either...yet, note the peak in the 1940's proceeded by the growth in the middle class(cni)* and continued growth in GDP(cni). What also occured in the subsequent years, increase in wages, increase in consumption, and increases in taxes.(cni) Correlary: taxes are not the primary or secondary problem either, they are a fraction of the solution.

While it is mistakes that often get more coverage, whining is not winning, but it plays the refs. The irony in the rejection of McCain's piece may be balanced by the error in his parsing by CBS.

By not going whole hog or shifting from recovery to reform too soon, the President is killing jobs.
But he is not the unitary executive that can just get her done.

In a bit of preemptive* positing, I note the potential significance of 8 and 24 dimension.

Could it be that it is related to the fact that 2 cubed is eight and 8x3 is 24. 

I say that without quibbling** over the definition of dimensions, but to say they are using it too purely mathematical. 

But now that I have spelled it out, might it represent 3 dimensions in each of the 8 quadrants of standard x-y-z grid.  Or am I just putting into words what it actually means in their math?

Meaning they seem to have presented an argument for prosecutions for lying to the American People, not to mention looking back.

To be fair and balanced, I doubt he would apply the same standards to himself or the past. I do think prosecution is the thing, only the forum is the question.

[First let me say that my sorting above might hinge on the charge of "political expediency". That is what former CIA Director Porter Goss accused Speaker Pelosi of employing, if not amnesia. But really I think it could be more a matter of not being able to be direct about who was told what by whom when and when was it authorized** to implement or leak. Rachel is no Jon Stewart, Olbermann is no Glenn Beck, Matthews is no "fair and balanced", and Ed Schultz is no Rush, though he does get flush at times. It is about the dialogue, even if it is grand sitting at times.]

Just where am I coming from and where am I going? Good question, but for the moment I accidently clicked on a number of years ago and hit upon examples of the ongoing interpretation. [Interpretations and rules of power.(Or Not)]

Prior to the earthquake, with the passing of David Broder, it occurred to me that one should not feel a loss, based on which side of the political spectrum(or geography) one is on. Not that it does not matter to many people. After the earthquake it is still all about how it effects us, not about how it impacts those that were closer to the problem.* But it is not wrong to politically learn from tragedy, or just plain expect be the cause. Not that I connect the cause, but there are laws, and always time for pause.]
